How IT Park Helps Members Grow: Meeting with Software Wizards
IT Park Uzbekistan, serving as a key driver of the country’s IT sector development, continues to actively support its members by organizing regular meetings and discussions. The goal of such events is not only to gather feedback but also to identify new growth opportunities, provide support, and strengthen collaboration among ecosystem participants.
One of these events was a meeting at the office of Software Wizards.
Software Wizards, a branch of the global corporation DSR, was established in Uzbekistan in December 2021. DSR, headquartered in Colorado, USA, has a global presence with offices in Portugal, Japan, and now Uzbekistan. By May 2022, Software Wizards became a resident of IT Park in Tashkent, marking a significant milestone in the company's expansion. The decision to enter Uzbekistan was driven by the country's growing economy and government support for innovation through the IT Park residency program, creating an ideal environment for partnership and growth.
The company, a member of IT Park, exports IT services to the USA. Software Wizards employs over 50 skilled programmers.
During the meeting, important issues were raised regarding the company’s current achievements, plans for 2025, and collaboration with IT Park. The discussion focused on the following aspects:
● Expansion of the company’s export capabilities
● Creation of new job opportunities
● Supporting business scaling through the introduction of new initiatives
The company expressed interest in the Zero Risk and Local2Global programs.
Zero Risk Program
The Zero Risk Program became one of the key topics of discussion. Its purpose is to help companies grow in Uzbekistan while minimizing risks. It provides an opportunity to focus on growth without being distracted by external threats. During the meeting, participants discussed how this program could benefit Software Wizards and what steps should be taken to utilize it fully.
Local2Global Program
Special attention was given to expanding business geography. The idea of collaborating with partners in Japan through the Local2Global program sparked particular interest. Such steps could be an excellent springboard for entering Asian markets, establishing new partnerships, and opening doors to long-term cooperation with investors and technology companies.
