The Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, and the CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, held a meeting with Naoki Hama, President and CEO of Fujifilm Business Innovation, and Isao Takamura, President of FUJIFILM System Services, along with senior executives from the FUJIFILM Group and its affiliated structures. The discussions focused on the prospects of establishing a corporate office in Uzbekistan, the recruitment of local specialists, and the advancement of cooperation in information technology and education.
The CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, and the Advisor to the Minister of Digital Technologies, Sakurai-san, held a meeting with the leadership of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) during their visit to Japan. The meeting involved Norihiko Ishiguro, Chairman and CEO of JETRO, and Takafumi Suzuki, Executive Vice President of JETRO. The representatives of JETRO agreed to develop systematic cooperation aimed at attracting Japanese IT companies to Uzbekistan, supporting the startup ecosystem, and promoting Uzbekistan as a reliable destination for IT outsourcing. Consequently, a memorandum of cooperation was signed.
Akihiro Sakurai, Advisor to the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, and IT Park Uzbekistan CEO Abdullakhad Kuchkarov held a meeting with Hideyuki Tokuda, President of the Japan National Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (NICT). The parties explored avenues for long-term collaboration, including joint research, expertise exchange, and human capital development within the information and communications technology sector.
