
IT Forum Held in Muynak with Participation of IT Park Members and Digital Industry Representatives
The Muynak district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan hosted a regional IT forum, organized by IT Park Uzbekistan in collaboration with IT Park Karakalpakstan. The event served as a significant platform for the demonstration of digital solutions, innovative startups, and educational initiatives, while also fostering dialogue among local and international technology experts.
Held as part of the annual "Stikhiya" festival, the forum attracted a broad audience, including students, youth from across Karakalpakstan, and international participants. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the IT sector, startup infrastructure, and regional initiatives aimed at advancing digital competencies.
The opening session featured welcoming remarks by Murat Atamuratov, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and Rasul Zarekeyev, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, who both emphasized the critical importance of digital technology development in the region.
As part of the forum, an exhibition was organized, featuring companies such as Data Live Centre, One Cloud China, Imax, Voice Solutions VB, Karsu Soft, Data-Soft, Aral Hub, Kungrat IT School, Startup Garage, Beeline, and School 21.
Participants presented innovative IT solutions, digital platforms, and educational products developed both within Uzbekistan and internationally.
Notable speakers at the event included Dmitry Falaleev, Director of Voice Solutions VB; Tazabay Uteuliev, Founder of Aral Sea Discovery tourism company; and Kamila Khalmuratova, Representative of School 21.
A dedicated panel discussion on the development of the startup ecosystem in Uzbekistan was also held, with contributions from Usman Rakhimzhanov, Coordinator of the Startup Factory project; Jamoliddin Shaykhov, representative of IT Park’s central office; Mels Kosnazarov, Deputy Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Dauran Seitniyazov, representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation; and Ruslan Yuldashev, Founder of Moodme.
The IT Forum in Muynak marked a significant step toward promoting the digital economy in Uzbekistan’s regions. IT Park Uzbekistan remains committed to supporting such initiatives, contributing to the development of IT infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and international collaboration across the country.
