IT Park Uzbekistan Explores Strategic Partnership with Air Media-Tech in Creative Industries

IT Park Uzbekistan recently hosted a meeting with Air Media-Tech, a global leader in the influencer economy, to discuss collaboration on advancing the creative economy and supporting local content creators. Representing Air Media-Tech were Stepan Mikhailov, a seasoned entrepreneur in digital media; David Rost, General Director of Checkme.digital and incoming CEO of Air Media-Tech in Uzbekistan; and Irene Gross, Co-Founder and COO of Checkme.digital. The IT Park Uzbekistan delegation was headed by Mahliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director, and Jamila Khalibaeva, Global Marketing Director.

Discussions centered around Air Media-Tech’s interest in exploring opportunities in Uzbekistan, including the potential to open an office that can serve as a hub for technical support of their IT products—more than 30 in total—and for driving the development of YouTube content in the country. By potentially working directly with local content creators, Air Media-Tech aims to enhance the quality and reach of Uzbek digital content, positioning the country as a regional leader in the creative economy.


 

Following the meeting with IT Park, Air Media-Tech representatives held discussions with the Minister of Digital Technologies and later toured Uzinfocom to gain deeper insights into Uzbekistan’s digital infrastructure and technological landscape. The guests were also introduced to Uzbekistan’s business conditions for creative industry members, including incentives and resources to foster growth and innovation in the sector.
