IT Park Uzbekistan Presented the Country’s Potential at Eurasia Tech Week in Istanbul

Istanbul hosted Eurasia Technology Week (ETW) — an international exhibition dedicated to innovation in the fields of fintech and artificial intelligence. The event brought together over 20,000 professionals, prominent global brands, and leading experts to discuss key trends in technological development.

Why is this important for Uzbekistan?

Participation in large-scale events such as Eurasia Tech Week serves as a strategic platform for:

  • Showcasing Uzbekistan’s IT export potential;
  • Attracting foreign investment and advanced technologies;
  • Enhancing educational initiatives for IT professionals;
  • Strengthening the country’s position as a regional technology hub.

Uzbekistan’s startups actively engaged in the exhibition, promoting the country’s investment potential and talent pool, and held discussions on prospective cooperation with international partners.

Several Uzbek startups were featured at the event, including Tass Vision, Datagaze, Trust ID, and Jett, alongside participants such as Oson, Odoo, Etiya, Defne, and Rahmat.

Oson

A leading provider of fintech solutions, offering online payments and mobile wallets. The company’s representatives engaged with key Turkish fintech players to discuss wallet integration and potential collaboration on tailored fintech products for the Turkish market.

A biometric identification platform for banks and fintech providers. The founders conducted meetings with Turkish companies, agreeing to collaborate on biometric and recognition technologies and to initiate joint pilot projects.

At the exhibition, Jett established initial connections with companies such as NeviTech, Arvis Teknoloji SAN.TIC.A.S, Faturamatik, CiSoft, Voya, SENDER, and others to explore potential areas for cooperation.

Representatives of Rahmat, a digital platform, discussed geographic expansion and potential partnership opportunities with companies including Papara, HepsiPay, Faturamatik, CiSoft, MetropolCard, QNB, Kerzz, and others.

Odoo

Discussions focused on training programs for Python developers to work with Odoo, one of the world’s leading business automation platforms. Participating companies expressed strong interest in Uzbekistan’s IT specialists and are considering the country as a regional hub for operations in the CIS.

Defne

The company confirmed plans to visit Tashkent in May during GSMA. Further discussions on cooperation will continue in an extended format.

Alongside startup promotion and international networking, particular attention at the exhibition was given to expanding Uzbekistan’s IT service exports and attracting global companies to the country. IT Park Uzbekistan showcased the nation’s export potential, emphasizing the competitiveness of local IT solutions and the expertise of Uzbek specialists.

Talks also addressed opportunities for production localization, development outsourcing, and joint ventures targeting Eurasian markets. Participation in Eurasia Tech Week not only demonstrated the market readiness of Uzbek startups but also laid the foundation for new export-oriented agreements — further positioning Uzbekistan as a reliable and forward-looking partner in the global technology landscape.
