Biography and facts

Akmal Paiziev is an Uzbek IT entrepreneur, innovator, and venture investor, born in 1984. He was educated at Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan), Wageningen University in the Netherlands, and completed a professional management program at the Uzbek-Japanese Center. Showing an early interest in technology, he began his career by launching online projects, including one of Uzbekistan’s first e-commerce platforms, Yarmarka.uz.

After 2015, his entrepreneurial activity accelerated: together with Ozodbek Ulmasov, he created MyTaxi — one of the country’s first mobile taxi-ordering apps. In 2017, Express 24 emerged from his ecosystem as an independent delivery platform. Simultaneously, Paiziev developed projects such as Workly, Maxtrack, and Toko.uz, covering HR management, transport monitoring, and e-commerce. In 2022, he founded the innovation hub IMPACT.T in Tashkent to support startups and develop the IT community.

Since 2024, Paiziev has expanded internationally, relocating to the USA and working on global projects. In 2025, he launched the San Francisco-based startup Numeo AI, which develops AI solutions for logistics and dispatch automation. In the same year, he was ranked among Uzbekistan’s top 30 AI leaders. His products, including MyTaxi, Express 24, and Numeo AI, have established him as one of the region’s leading IT entrepreneurs.
