Farhod Makhmudov

Farhod Makhmudov was born on January 2, 1981, in Tashkent and graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute with a degree in Banking. His professional career spans experience in the financial sector, construction, agribusiness, and FMCG distribution, providing him with cross-industry expertise and a deep understanding of managing diverse businesses.

In 2016, he founded OSON — the first electronic money system in Uzbekistan, which has since evolved into an international fintech ecosystem. Today, the ecosystem includes OSON Wallet, the cryptocurrency wallet OsonX, digital communication service Oson eSIM, and the B2B platform Oson Business. Under Farhod’s leadership, the company expanded into Kazakhstan, the UAE, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, preparing for further global expansion and attracting international investments.

Farhod Makhmudov is an entrepreneur and investor advocating for fintech and digital technology development in Central Asia.
