Renat Akhtyamov

Renat Akhtyamov is General Director of EPAM Systems Uzbekistan, a specialist with 20 years of experience in developing and implementing corporate software. He combines a technical foundation and management competencies: he graduated from Tashkent State Technical University, receiving a bachelor's degree (2003) and master's degree (2005) in "Software for Computing Complexes."

He started his career in 2005 at BAIK Technologies, where he progressed from software engineer to general director. In 2013, he founded Zamonaviy kommunikatsiyalar, and in 2014–2017 worked at UZCARD, participating in integration with international payment systems UnionPay and MasterCard. Later he held leadership positions at the National Project Management Agency and UZINFOCOM.

Since 2019, he has headed EPAM Systems Uzbekistan. Under his leadership, the company has grown to a team of more than 600 specialists, strengthened IT services exports, and reinforced cooperation with the country's leading universities. His activities are based on strategic management, deep technical expertise, and support for the development of Uzbekistan's IT ecosystem.

Successful projects: IT Services Export and University Partnerships — Organization of software development and support for more than 70 international clients. Creation of laboratories at TUIT, INHA, AMITY, and other universities for training specialists in Java, .Net, JavaScript, DevOps, etc.

Internship and Specialist Training Programs — Launch of internal youth training programs with minimal experience, providing practical cases and further employment opportunities.

IT Park University (2022–2025) — Joint with IT Park, the country's first online university. In 2024, a master's program started, and in 2025, the first 75 students graduated. Students complete international internships at EPAM offices in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, and Georgia.
