As part of its visit to London for participation in the Call & Contact Centre Expo 2024, the delegation of IT Park Uzbekistan held meetings with prominent technology companies in the United Kingdom to discuss prospects for collaboration.
Onyx International
During discussions with Ayo Popoola, Founder and Managing Partner of Onyx International, the parties explored potential avenues for collaboration in developing innovative business models designed for global export.
Representatives of Onyx International expressed a strong interest in establishing an office in Uzbekistan, a move that would mark a significant milestone for the company in expanding its global footprint. The establishment of such an office is envisioned to facilitate the transfer of advanced technologies, attract foreign investment, and generate new employment opportunities for local talent. This initiative is expected to not only bolster Uzbekistan’s technological infrastructure but also provide local professionals with opportunities to acquire unique skills and valuable expertise.
Onyx International is an American company focused on building an ecosystem that enables global investors to access equity and shares through blockchain technology. The company possesses over 30 years of experience in the technology sector, garnered through partnerships with international organizations across diverse regions, including Latin America, Europe, Africa, and North America.
Yumee App Software
The IT Park delegation also held a meeting with Asila Akbarova, Co-Founder and COO of Yumee App Software. During the discussion, IT Park representatives presented the Zero Risk Program, emphasizing its role in minimizing investment risks and facilitating the growth of export-oriented enterprises within Uzbekistan’s IT and outsourcing sectors.
The negotiations culminated in an agreement to establish a new Yumee App Software office in Uzbekistan and to recruit local developers. The opening of Yumee App Software’s office in Uzbekistan is expected to significantly contribute to strengthening collaboration in the information technology domain while creating new professional opportunities for Uzbek specialists.
Yumee App Software is a state-of-the-art solution tailored for restaurants and delivery services, combining an advanced EPOS system with online ordering functionalities to streamline management processes and enhance customer experiences. The company currently maintains offices in Turkey and London.
Enqura
During a meeting with Gary Bernstein, International Business Development Manager at Enqura, the parties deliberated on prospects for collaboration and investment opportunities in Uzbekistan. The Uzbek delegation outlined the support programs offered by IT Park Uzbekistan to support international businesses, highlighting the strategic advantages of becoming a member of the IT Park.
Mr. Bernstein shared his extensive expertise in facilitating corporate growth and driving international expansion. His professional portfolio includes the management of strategic partnerships, implementation of business development initiatives, and scaling operations across various sectors, including technology, artificial intelligence, and digital solutions.
As a result of the discussions, Mr. Bernstein expressed a keen interest in evaluating the potential for expanding the operations of Enqura’s affiliated entities in Uzbekistan with the potential incorporation into the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem to access new markets through our country. A delegation from Enqura is scheduled to visit Uzbekistan in the spring of next year to assess the local infrastructure and business climate.

Furthermore, the delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan engaged in discussions with Alexander Melnikov, CEO of KOMPaaS.tech. During the meeting, the Uzbek representatives presented the company's development plans in Uzbekistan. KOMPaaS.tech has already established a legal entity in the country and is in the process of applying for an IT-Visa.
The company's infrastructure is hosted in data centers in Frankfurt and is connected to major European telecommunications operators. KOMPaaS.tech is fully authorized to provide telecommunications services in Austria, ensuring compliance with all pertinent regulatory requirements.

Representatives of RingCentral particularly highlighted the potential of attracting local professionals, owing to their multilingual capabilities, as RingCentral serves a global client base.

The delegation of IT Park Uzbekistan engaged in discussions with Dr. Bing Tian, founder of BlueStrawberry AI and co-founder of Canterbury AI, to explore the potential relocation of the companies’ headquarters to Uzbekistan, as well as the opportunity to engage Uzbek personnel on an outsourcing basis.
Dr. Bing Tian expressed significant interest in relocating the headquarters of both BlueStrawberry AI and Canterbury AI to Uzbekistan, recognizing the country as a strategically important platform for conducting business. He emphasized Uzbekistan’s considerable potential, citing its highly qualified workforce and the competitive advantages offered by IT Park. The companies plan to conduct interviews and recruit local talent in the near future, which will facilitate the effective utilization of resources and foster the development of innovative projects in the region.
