IT Park Uzbekistan and Cognitus Explore Collaboration in ERP Solutions

As part of the visit of the Uzbek delegation to the United States CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan Abdulakhad Kuchkarov held a meeting with Jeff Olsen, Managing Director of Cognitus, in the state of Illinois.

Cognitus is a global SAP Gold Partner and a leading digital transformation firm specializing in the development and implementation of innovative ERP systems. Headquartered in the United States, the company operates across North America, Europe, and Asia, serving enterprise clients in manufacturing, logistics, and services, with a strong emphasis on intelligent automation and the integration of artificial intelligence.

The discussion focused on Cognitus’s plans to expand into the Central Asian market and the human capital potential of Uzbekistan. IT Park Uzbekistan outlined the significant advantages offered to member companies, including zero tax rates, complimentary office space, assistance in obtaining IT visas, and access to a multilingual talent pool.

IT Park offered comprehensive support for registration and establishment of a Cognitus branch, including exemptions from corporate income tax, VAT on exported services, and personal income tax for foreign employees. Additionally, the proposal included free modern office spaces and coworking facilities in key cities such as Bukhara and Samarkand, access to a highly skilled pool of specialists trained in SAP, AI, and automation, as well as promotional support and potential co-branding with state digital initiatives.

The primary objective of the meeting was to explore opportunities for SAP talent development, the establishment of an ERP development center, as well as to lay the groundwork for Cognitus to obtain IT Park member status and fully benefit from the ecosystem.

This meeting marks an important step toward attracting global technology companies to Uzbekistan’s rapidly developing IT sector. IT Park Uzbekistan remains committed to fostering favorable conditions for the development of IT companies, offering unique opportunities and incentives for business expansion and investment attraction.
