IT Park Uzbekistan and TIME Unite to Nurture the Next Generation of IT Leaders

IT Park Uzbekistan and the Tashkent Institute of Management and Economics (TIME) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This collaboration is aimed at establishing a solid foundation for cultivating highly qualified talent in the digital economy, supporting youth employment, and fostering a culture of innovation among students.

Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, and Khojiakbarkhon Akhmedov, Rector of TIME, discussed the significant advantages this partnership will offer students through their engagement with IT Park.

As part of the collaboration, students will gain access to internships and the opportunity to participate in real-world projects led by IT companies operating in both domestic and international markets. They will also benefit from a range of educational initiatives, including masterclasses, training programs, and workshops conducted by leading industry experts.

Jakhongir Radjabov, Business Development Director at IT Park Uzbekistan, emphasized the comprehensive support available for startups — from assistance in launching their own projects and access to mentorship, to participation in acceleration programs. He also highlighted joint initiatives such as hackathons, forums, and thematic competitions designed to enhance both hard and soft skills.

This partnership represents a significant step toward integrating education with industry. It ensures that theoretical knowledge is reinforced with practical experience, equipping students with the essential skills necessary for a successful career launch.

The collaboration between IT Park Uzbekistan and TIME paves the way for transformative changes in education and represents a strategic investment in the future of Uzbekistan’s digital economy. It is a decisive move toward building a new generation of highly skilled IT professionals.
