Nikoloz Kurdiani

Nikoloz (Nika) Kurdiani is General Director of TBC Bank Uzbekistan, a branch of the largest bank in the Caucasus with a 28-year history, included in the top 350 companies of the London Stock Exchange. In 2024, he visited Uzbekistan as the third country of presence for TBC Group after Georgia and Azerbaijan. His appointment became a continuation of a successful international career and experience in developing retail business in different markets.

Nika has more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry. He started his career at Bank of Georgia, then headed the retail services department at Bank Republic Georgia (Société Générale Group). After obtaining an MBA at IE Business School and a master's degree in international economics at Georgian Technical University, he continued his career at UniCredit Group, working in the markets of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Serbia, and then headed the retail division of ATF Bank in Kazakhstan.

Before joining TBC in 2014, he held the position of Managing Director at Kaspi Bank. His competencies include integration and restructuring after M&A, launching customer services, and developing products for individuals and the small and medium business segment. Nika is recognized as one of the three best bankers in the world in the SME segment according to EFMA and MasterCard.
