    Avasant Foundation to Launch Training Program in Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Technologies for Uzbekistan

     

    A meeting was convened between the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation, led by Executive Director, Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, and representatives of the American Avasant Foundation (AF), represented by its Executive Director, Chitra Rajeshwari.

     

    Avasant Foundation, a division of the global management firm Avasant, is headquartered in El Segundo, California. The foundation collaborates with the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, and it is supported by Infinite Computer Solutions. To date, the Avasant Foundation has created 25,000 jobs worldwide and was the recipient of the Global Impact Sourcing Award in 2023.

     

     

    The initial engagement with the foundation took place in the spring of 2024, during which the Avasant delegation expressed keen interest in partnering to establish a aimed at nurturing new IT talents in Uzbekistan, with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies. Since that time, IT Park representatives have engaged in active negotiations with Chitra Rajeshwari, refining the details of the program.

     

    During the most recent meeting, both parties deliberated on the final steps for launching the Avasant training program for young people in Uzbekistan, concentrating on AI and cloud technologies. The discussion covered key aspects such as program content, duration, and other critical elements. IT Park Uzbekistan confirmed its full commitment to supporting the program's implementation.

     

     

    The Avasant Foundation also commended Uzbekistan’s supportive government programs for the ITeS sector, particularly focusing on favorable business climate as well as Zero Risk and Softlanding programs.

     

    The Avasant Foundation’s training initiative represents a significant milestone for both parties. For Uzbekistan, the program offers new avenues for attracting foreign investments into the IT services sector, enhances the country’s export potential, and contributes to job creation. For the Avasant, the program serves as a strategic entry into the regional market, leveraging Uzbekistan’s conducive business environment while expanding opportunities for training of highly skilled IT professionals.

    GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries. Among the attendees were representatives of multinational corporations, startups, government agencies, and venture capital funds.
