From Local Projects to Global Contracts: Uzbekistan’s BPO Companies and IT Park Join Forces

IT Park Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between its executive leadership, led by CEO Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, and representatives of the country’s BPO companies — Cetus Pro, Unicall, and Ikhlas Group. The discussion focused on key initiatives to strengthen Uzbekistan’s presence in the global market and accelerate the development of the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector.  

Export and the Local2Global Program

Company representatives expressed confidence that the Local2Global program will serve as a catalyst for export expansion. They highlighted the support tools provided by IT Park — including marketing assistance and legal guidance — as instrumental in facilitating access to markets in the United States, Europe, and Asia.  

Advancing the BPO Industry

The participants outlined plans to generate thousands of new jobs and develop a skilled workforce aligned with international standards. Particular emphasis was placed on the implementation of educational programs featuring foreign experts, designed to enhance the global competitiveness of Uzbekistan’s BPO professionals. 

Investments through IT Park Ventures

Cetus Pro, Unicall, and Ikhlas Group expressed their readiness to present their projects to the IT Park Venture Fund in order to attract investment. CEO Abdulakhad Kuchkarov remarked: "Our goal is not only to support startups but also to help scale existing companies that demonstrate strong growth potential." 

Joint Initiatives

The BPO companies confirmed their interest in participating in international business forums, export missions, and hackathons organized by IT Park. These platforms are expected to strengthen networking efforts and attract new international clients.  

The outcomes of the meeting reaffirmed that Uzbekistan’s BPO industry is on the cusp of a transformative leap. The synergy between state-backed support, IT Park’s strategic programs, and the ambitions of local companies is forming a solid foundation for Uzbekistan to emerge as a regional hub for business process outsourcing. The next step will involve the signing of detailed roadmaps for each area of collaboration.
