HACK4REGION hackathon for IT developers was held in Jizzak region

The HACK4REGION hackathon, a three-day competition held in Jizzakh region, brought together 85 skilled IT professionals, forming 17 teams to develop cutting-edge solutions in artificial intelligence, digital technologies, cybersecurity, e-commerce, and healthcare.

Innovation and Technology at the Forefront

Participants demonstrated innovative approaches to addressing real-world challenges, applying state-of-the-art methodologies and tools. Projects were assessed by an expert jury based on innovation, relevance, teamwork, and implementation potential.

Following the hackathon, winners were announced and awards were presented in special categories:

1st Place — TechVision for the project TechVision

2nd Place — Web Master for the project Test Genius

3rd Place — Byterax for the project Ijara X

“Most Active Team” — Cod3 Lab for the project Hack-ED

“Youngest Team” — InfiniteX for the project InfiniteXERP

“Most Innovative Project” — Sharingan for the project Rega

The winners received commemorative awards and vouchers for free IT courses on Coursera.

GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries. Among the attendees were representatives of multinational corporations, startups, government agencies, and venture capital funds.

Outcomes of the visit to the United States: new partnerships for IT exports and outsourcing

A delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Startup and Investment Development Director Elyor Maksudov, conducted a visit to the United States, where it held meetings with Cohere AI, Armanino, Saber Interactive, PomPom Fairy, CosmicBrain AI, as well as with members of the Uzbek diaspora in California and New York. The discussions focused on the implementation and localization of artificial intelligence technologies, the expansion of IT export services, the establishment of offices and research centers in Tashkent, and the strengthening of ties with compatriots working in leading global companies.

A native of Karshi with two diplomas and an insatiable thirst for knowledge, Madina Berdieva advanced from her first position at ABB Lummus Global in Uzbekistan to Shell’s headquarters in the Netherlands, where she now leads work in data quality management, digital strategy, and AI in capital projects. IT Park Uzbekistan and the Omani delegation agreed on cooperation in the fields of IT and energy

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan held a meeting with a delegation from Oman comprising leading companies in the fields of information technology and energy. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in digital technologies and green energy. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish an office of Rihal Data Migration & Services in Uzbekistan, as well as to pursue plans for the construction of modern data centers.

Beijing hosted the Uzbekistan–China Forum, bringing together more than 800 representatives of the public and private sectors of both countries. Particular emphasis at the forum was placed on the development of digital technologies. The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev and Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Li Xingqian.

Xiaomi considers Uzbekistan as a service hub with access to CIS markets

Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, held a meeting with a delegation from Xiaomi led by Wang Guifen, Business Development Director. During the discussions, the parties examined a model under which user support for CIS markets could be scaled from Uzbekistan through IT Park members, with a longer-term perspective on global expansion. Particular attention was given to increasing the volume of orders for Uzbek companies.

IT Park Cyber Cup 2025: tournament results
