IT Park Members Gain Access to Global Markets via Octobank’s Internet Acquiring Service

Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director at IT Park Uzbekistan, and Pavel Limorenko, Director of the E-commerce Department at Octobank, have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to enable IT Park members to accept international payments via Octobank’s internet acquiring platform. This collaboration is set to simplify the process for Uzbek IT companies to enter global markets.

Octobank, a universal bank with over two decades of experience in Uzbekistan’s financial sector, has been actively developing its digital banking and acquiring services. The bank was recognized as the “Leading Acquiring Bank in E-Commerce in Uzbekistan in 2024” at the E-commerce Central Asia Expo 2024.

    Key Agreements

Under this partnership, Octobank will provide cross-border payment infrastructure for IT Park members — particularly gaming platforms and startups developing SaaS solutions. With access to fast and secure international transactions, Uzbek IT companies will be better positioned to operate globally and enhance their competitive edge.

“We are confident that this memorandum marks a significant step toward expanding the export capabilities of our members and accelerating their integration into the global digital economy,” emphasized Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director at IT Park.

“We highly appreciate IT Park's well-coordinated work and readiness to support each member company. This partnership will boost Uzbekistan’s export capacity by equipping local IT companies with the tools needed to access new markets,” noted Pavel Limorenko, Director of the E-commerce Department at Octobank.

This collaboration between IT Park and Octobank opens new horizons for Uzbekistan’s IT companies, offering them modern financial solutions to penetrate international markets and strengthen their presence in the global e-commerce landscape.
