    IT Park Uzbekistan Expands Cooperation with Korean IT Companies at World IT Show 2025

    IT Park Uzbekistan, along with its member companies — Oson Group, BRB Tech, and ART KAR, participated in the international exhibition World IT Show 2025, showcasing the technological potential of Uzbekistan. The event brought together over 1,200 companies and attracted more than 75,000 visitors. Throughout the event, IT Park held meetings with over 100 companies, many of which expressed keen interest in establishing a presence in Uzbekistan and outsourcing projects to local providers.

     

     

    The participation of IT Park’s member companies was facilitated through the Local2Global.Korea program.

     

    Oson Business presented its dynamic QR payment solutions and held negotiations with Kmall App Powercall, QQTrade, Telecentro, and E9PAY Co., Ltd. concerning potential entry into the South Korean market.   

     

     

    BRB Tech a range of fintech solutions, including account management and online banking platforms. The company signed a cooperation agreement with Vietnam-based INFINIGRU Corporation and held discussions with several Korean enterprises, including BOZORAKA LLC, INZENT LLC, and XL8 INC, with additional agreements expected in the near term.    

     

     

    ART KAR introduced mobile games and VR simulators, held a business meeting with Proxy Planet, gave an interview to The Korea Economic Daily, and noted a significant increase in interest toward its products. The company is currently undertaking efforts to localise and promote its offerings within the Korean market.   

     

     

    Strengthening Cooperation with Korean IT Companies

    As part of the visit to Korea, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan — Jakhongir Kagirov and Nodirbek Berdikobilov — held a series of meetings with representatives of Korean technology and outsourcing firms, as well as academic institutions. Their participation in World IT Show 2025, one of Asia’s largest IT forums, focused on attracting investment, launching joint projects, and expanding bilateral partnerships between Uzbekistan and Korea in the fields of IT, game development, and BPO services.   

     

    Megazone Cloud

     

    Jakhongir Kagirov, Director for IT Services Export Development at IT Park Uzbekistan, met with Shin Joongin, Head of the Ability Development Center at Megazone Cloud.

     

     

    The discussions focused on the prospective launch of an AWS Cloud training program aimed at preparing Uzbek professionals to contribute to Megazone Cloud’s global projects. These specialists would be engaged from a planned local office in Uzbekistan. The company is currently considering establishing a local presence, and a detailed plan and roadmap for launching the training initiative are expected to be presented in the coming weeks. 

     

    IT Park expressed readiness to support the recruitment of qualified professionals and facilitate cooperation with local universities to establish a strong talent pipeline in the field of cloud technologies.

    BrickMate: Interest in the Uzbek Market

     

    During a meeting, Mr. Che Hee San, CEO of BrickMate, expressed strong interest in Uzbekistan as a promising destination for the company's future expansion. He conveyed his intention to explore the conditions for opening an office in Uzbekistan. A delegation from the company is expected to visit Uzbekistan in the near future to conduct a detailed market study.   

     

     

    BrickMate operates its own IT development center in Vietnam, employing over 130 specialists. The company also acts as a project manager between Korean clients and contractors, and expressed readiness to assist Uzbek IT companies in securing outsourcing contracts from Korean partners.

     

    NTQ Korea: SAP Cloud Orders and Participation in GBS Forum 

    Jakhongir Kagirov held discussions with Mr. Yoon Joon Seong, Vice President of NTQ Korea, during which the company identified Uzbekistan as a strategic location for business expansion. In the near term, the company plans to assign SAP Public Cloud projects to Uzbek contractors. Additionally, Mr. Yoon also expressed interest in participating in the upcoming GBS Forum, scheduled to take place in Tashkent in July of this year. 

     

     

    NTQ Korea is a company headquartered in Vietnam, with a workforce exceeding 1,300 employees.

     

    KOCCA: Support for Game Development Companies and Joint Initiatives 

     

    A representative of IT Park Uzbekistan held talks with Mr. Lee Jong Hoon, Head of the Department for Game Business Acceleration and Educational Programs at the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), to explore avenues for cooperation in the creative technology sector. KOCCA expressed its willingness to co-organize a joint seminar involving over 100 Korean gaming enterprises and to consider a potential delegation visit to Uzbekistan. 

     

    Advancing Professional Training in Game Development  

    As part of the visit, a meeting was held with Mr. Jeon Dae Shik, CEO of the Gyeonggi Game Meister High School. The meeting facilitated an exchange of insights regarding student admission criteria, academic specializations (including game design, art design, and programming), as well as graduate employment rates.  

     

     

    Shine Soft: Interest in Entering the Uzbek Market 

    Mr. Shin Kwang Bae, CEO of Shine Soft, articulated the company’s interest in the opportunities Uzbekistan offers to IT companies, particularly in the development of "smart factory" solutions. While Shine Soft has not previously established international offices, its representatives are planning a visit to Uzbekistan. 

     

     

    KS Korea JOBS INC.: Establishing a BPO Office in Uzbekistan   

    Mr. Kang Kyung Po, CEO of KS Korea JOBS INC., outlined plans to explore the Uzbek market with a view to opening a local office. The company aims to deliver chat-based consulting services to Korean clients from its future office in Uzbekistan, with an initial plan to generate 50 employment opportunities. IT Park representatives provided an overview of state-backed incentives, including the Zero Risk program and soft-landing services.  

     

     

    KS Korea JOBS INC. ranks among the top five BPO providers in Korea, delivering outsourced call center solutions to major corporations such as Lotte, Coupang, and Samsung. With a workforce of 8,500 employees, the company reported an annual turnover of $161 million in 2024.

     

    Memorandum of Cooperation with Freekey 

    IT Park Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Freekey. Mr. Kim Tae Hoon, CEO of Freekey, expressed the company’s readiness to transfer outsourcing orders from Korean clients to Uzbek developers and to assist in attracting further projects. Freekey is already cooperating with developers from Uzbekistan on a dating app project.

     

     

    Freekey is a leading mobile application and game development company.

     

    Memorandum of Cooperation with Korea Open Cyber University 

    As part of the visit, IT Park also signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Korea Open Cyber University. The cooperation entails using the university’s educational platform to provide training in IT disciplines and the Korean language. The parties also plan to jointly implement the “AI Health & Beauty” project in 2026. Furthermore, the university expressed its willingness to support the placement of Uzbek companies’ portfolios on the platform of the Korean IT Association.

     

     

    Creative Factory: Expansion Plans in Uzbekistan

    Shin Seo Hyun, Founder of Creative Factory, commended the high potential of Uzbekistan’s multilingual talent pool. The company has expressed a strong interest in establishing a local presence in Uzbekistan, with the aim of partnering with domestic specialists in animation and gaming technologies. Additionally, Creative Factory is exploring the possibility of delivering audiobook voiceover services in English and Russian, utilizing AI tools. Company representatives plan to attend the GBS Forum in July to explore the country’s infrastructure and finalize their decision.  

     

    Creative Factory is a creative studio with over 30 years of experience in audiobook narration and sound design for the gaming industry. 

     

    Presentation at the Global Invest Forum 

     

    As part of the exhibition, representatives of IT Park also participated in the Global Invest Forum. Nodirbek Berdikobilov delivered a presentation to an audience of 60 participants, providing detailed insights into the opportunities available for foreign investors — including advanced infrastructure, a qualified workforce, and strong government support.

     

     

    The partnership between IT Park and Korean companies opens up new avenues for the development of Uzbekistan’s IT sector. These joint initiatives will not only enhance the country’s human capital in the field of information technology but also position Uzbekistan as an attractive destination for international IT projects. Such collaborations will provide young professionals with access to global expertise, while contributing to job creation and driving investments into the nation’s innovation-driven economy.

    GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries. Among the attendees were representatives of multinational corporations, startups, government agencies, and venture capital funds.

    The Uzbek startup Verifix has secured $400,000 in funding from state-backed venture capital funds IT Park Ventures and AloqaVentures, with contributions of $150,000 and $250,000, respectively.     TASS Vision, a startup specializing in the development of intelligent AI-powered cameras for offline retail, has successfully closed an investment round totaling €1.3 million. One of the key participants in the round was IT Park Ventures, the state venture fund of Uzbekistan, which invested $100,000 as part of the country’s first transaction under the 1+1 co-investment mechanism — introduced by the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 14 October 2024, “On measures for the further development of the startup ecosystem and venture financing.”

    IT Park University graduates its first cohort: 80% already employed in Uzbekistan’s leading IT companies

    The first graduation ceremony of IT Park University students took place at IT Park Uzbekistan — a milestone marking the beginning of a new chapter in the university’s history. This day signified not only the culmination of academic studies but also the validation of the core principles upon which ITPU was founded — practicality, boldness, and a readiness for transformation. Of the 75 graduates, more than 80% have already received employment offers from companies such as EPAM, IT Park, TBC Bank Uzbekistan, Payme, Alif, and Beeline.
