    IT Park Uzbekistan Presents International Startup Support Program at Panel Discussion in Turkmenistan

    Ashgabat hosted the international conference “Ensuring Quality in Accordance with International Standards in Turkmenistan”, which focused on issues of quality assurance, certification, and alignment with global standards. The event convened representatives from government bodies, the private sector, and international organizations to explore modern approaches to quality management, digital transformation, and innovation promotion.

    As part of the panel discussion titled “Standards for IT & Start-Ups”, attended by international experts from the United States, the United Kingdom, Egypt, and Central Asian countries, Umidjon Toshmamatov, Head of the Member Company Support Department at IT Park Uzbekistan, and Dalerkhon Nodirov, Deputy Director of IT Park Ventures, presented Uzbekistan’s strategic advantages for international IT companies and startups, sharing insights into the development of Uzbekistan’s technology ecosystem.

     

     

    Furthermore, the IT Park delegation, in partnership with MCT Agency, held a dedicated session with startups, IT professionals, and young innovators from Turkmenistan.

     

     

    Organized within the framework of the educational initiative Startup Academy educational initiative, the event aimed to foster international dialogue, facilitate knowledge exchange, and promote opportunities for technological collaboration within the region.

     

     

    Startup Academy brought together active startups from Turkmenistan, who were introduced to the benefits of joining the IT Park Uzbekistan ecosystem, including access to international markets and comprehensive state support. Discussions also addressed potential avenues for technological cooperation between Central Asian countries and emphasized the importance of building a unified regional innovation environment.

    GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries. Among the attendees were representatives of multinational corporations, startups, government agencies, and venture capital funds.
