GBA Plans to Open a Back Office in Uzbekistan
A delegation from IT Park, led by CEO Farkhod Ibragimov, conducted a meeting with Denis Gittet, Director and Founder of a major outsourcing company with offices worldwide. The company has expressed interest in recruiting local multilingual specialists to operate in its back office in Uzbekistan.
GBA is a leading provider of outsourcing services, with over 35 offices worldwide. The company offers its services in various countries, including Mexico, Colombia, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, the UAE, Malaysia, China, Japan, and many others. The company’s expertise spans outsourcing to a wide range of industries, including aviation, automotive, cable television and media, e-commerce and other business sectors.
IT Park representatives presented the advantages of conducting business in Uzbekistan to the head of GBA, highlighting substantial government support, which includes tax incentives and assistance in hiring qualified personnel for the outsourcing office. Emphasis was placed on the favorable conditions that create unique opportunities for the growth and development of companies seeking to operate efficiently on an international level.
Denis Gittet underscored the interest in the country’s human potential — Uzbekistan's labor resources play a pivotal role in the decision to establish or merge with existing outsourcing company in the region. Particular interest was shown in young professionals proficient in Korean, German, Arabic, and French. Following receipt of information on the required qualifications, IT Park Uzbekistan will provide support in identifying suitable partners for launching the business in Uzbekistan.
Collaboration with GBA presents unique opportunities for Uzbekistan. The establishment of the company’s outsourcing call centers will create a substantial number of job opportunities for Uzbek citizens learning foreign languages, including German, Turkish, Chinese, and others. In the future, the company may also open its outsourcing call centers, providing local specialists with the opportunity to work with major international companies.
