    Plenary Group Explores Investment Opportunities in Uzbekistan

     

    Plenary Group, a global leader in public-private partnerships and infrastructure development, has met with IT Park Uzbekistan to understand their programme for development of branches across Uzbekistan. During a productive meeting with key representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan, the company discussed potential collaboration opportunities to expand the country's IT infrastructure.

     

     

    Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, Plenary Group is recognized for its expertise in delivering public and social infrastructure projects, asset management, and financial advisory services. The company manages 85 assets across North America, Australia, Great Britain, and the Middle East. 

     

     

    The meeting on October 3, 2024, marked an important step in exploring possible collaboration between Plenary Group and IT Park Uzbekistan. Representatives from IT Park shared their vision for the growth of the country’s IT sector and the expansion of IT Park branches across Uzbekistan. They highlighted the potential for partnership in establishing regional hubs to support technology startups and attract foreign investment.

     

     

    Delegation of Plenary Group, including Oliver Barbagallo, Moustafa Fahour, and Richard Higgins, discussed the potential collaboration opportunities with representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan led by Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director of IT Park Uzbekistan. This mutual interest and engagement from both parties underscores the importance of collaboration for developing regional IT hubs.

     

    As discussions progressed, both sides emphasized the strategic importance of developing IT infrastructure across Uzbekistan’s regions. With its extensive experience in infrastructure-linked property projects, Plenary Group is well-positioned to contribute to these ambitious initiatives. 

     

     

    Looking ahead, Plenary Group and IT Park Uzbekistan will continue to explore specific projects and opportunities for collaboration. The partnership comes together in the spirit of supporting Uzbekistan’s digital transformation goals under the “Digital Uzbekistan - 2030” strategy, fostering innovation and enhancing the country’s global competitiveness.

    GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries. Among the attendees were representatives of multinational corporations, startups, government agencies, and venture capital funds.

    Outcomes of the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation’s visit to Oman: partnerships and new initiatives

    A delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan, along with member companies Detecting AI, BRB Tech, and Fleetroot, paid a working visit to Muscat (Sultanate of Oman). The program included participation in the international exhibition Comex Technology Show 2025, as well as numerous meetings with leading Omani and international companies.
