    Sigma Software Establishes Engineering Office in Uzbekistan

    Sigma Software Group, a global provider of IT services, has officially commenced operations in Uzbekistan with the opening of an engineering office in Tashkent and the launch of partnerships with leading local universities.

     

    Founded in Ukraine, Sigma Software has been delivering digital transformation solutions and supporting startups for over 22 years. Since 2006, the company has been part of Sigma Group, one of largest IT consulting firms in Northern Europe. The group's ecosystem includes a business incubator, educational platform, and a range of cutting-edge digital products. Sigma Software currently operates in more than 10 countries, including Uzbekistan, Romania, and Hungary.

    Since 2002, Sigma Software has worked successfully with startups, product-based companies, and global corporations. The company now employs over 2,000 professionals, collaborating with 350+ clients worldwide.

     

    Sigma Software sees the launch of its Uzbekistan office as a meaningful contribution to the country’s growing IT ecosystem and an opportunity to engage local talent in developing solutions for international clients.

    GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries. Among the attendees were representatives of multinational corporations, startups, government agencies, and venture capital funds.
