Soft Hyperion Inc. Explores Opportunities to Establish an Office in Uzbekistan

The Japanese company Soft Hyperion Inc., specializing in software development and IT consulting, is considering the establishment of an office in Uzbekistan with the aim of recruiting local talent. During a visit to IT Park Uzbekistan, representatives of the company expressed strong interest in the park's activities and in the potential for collaboration.

Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Tokyo, Soft Hyperion Inc. focuses on developing web applications and software systems across various sectors, including finance, education, insurance, and logistics. The company employs 230 professionals and actively supports training and development programs, including international internships.

The main objective of Soft Hyperion Inc.’s visit was to gain insight into the operations of IT Park and assess opportunities for business expansion in the region. During their meeting with the Export Department of IT Park, the Japanese delegation was introduced to the achievements of Uzbekistan's IT sector, including locally developed products. Special attention was given to the technological solutions offered by Uzinfocom, which has extensive expertise in digitalizing government services. A tour of the Uzinfocom facilities followed the meeting, providing the visitors with a firsthand look at the country’s innovative developments.

A key point of interest for Soft Hyperion Inc. was Uzbekistan's human capital. The country boasts a rich, multilingual talent pool, making it attractive to international companies seeking highly qualified specialists. Uzbekistan is also actively enhancing its educational programs and initiatives to prepare IT professionals capable of operating in the global market.

Moreover, Uzbekistan offers substantial government support programs aimed at fostering the IT sector’s growth. Programs such as Zero Risk provide tax incentives and other advantages to companies establishing operations in the country’s regions. These measures create favorable conditions for investors, encouraging them to grow their businesses in Uzbekistan.

The positive feedback from the Japanese side following the visit underscores the significant interest in developing partnerships with Uzbekistan. Soft Hyperion Inc.’s representatives praised the notable achievements of local IT professionals and recognized Uzbekistan’s readiness for international collaboration. In their continued exploration of opportunities to establish an office, the company’s leadership expressed keen interest in Uzbekistan’s potential and confirmed their participation in the forthcoming Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference in Tokyo on October 31, 2024. This will serve as a significant step toward expanding their presence in the Central Asian market and recruiting skilled local talent, contributing to the further growth of Uzbekistan’s IT sector.
