Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Joe Kirgues, Co-founder of gener8tor. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in developing startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship across the regions of Uzbekistan.

gener8tor, founded in 2012 in Madison, Wisconsin (USA), is one of the leading American startup accelerators and venture partners, working in collaboration with universities, corporations, and government organizations. Today, the company operates in more than 5 countries and 46 communities, having supported over 1,600 startups that collectively raised more than $2.9 billion in investments and created over 12,000 jobs.
One of the central points of the discussion was the establishment of a regional gener8tor office in Uzbekistan, with member company status within IT Park Uzbekistan. This initiative would expand access to structured acceleration and entrepreneurship training programs for startups throughout the country.

The parties also explored opportunities to introduce gALPHA and gBETA programs within university incubation centers and startup studios of IT Park Uzbekistan. These initiatives are designed to support aspiring founders and students at the idea formation and pre-seed stages, providing mentorship and access to early-stage development resources.
Special attention was given to launching a Training of Trainers (ToT) program, focused on training and certifying local mentors to deliver acceleration programs. The program aims to create a pool of qualified trainers and build a sustainable regional startup support network, ensuring broad access to incubation and pre-acceleration programs across all regions of Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation. The implementation of joint projects with gener8tor will help accelerate the growth of Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem, create new employment opportunities, and support young entrepreneurs in developing their innovative ventures.

Furthermore, gener8tor alumni startups and partner companies will be introduced to Uzbekistan’s startup support mechanisms and business incentives, including assistance from IT Park Uzbekistan in establishing local offices and obtaining member company status.

Collaboration with gener8tor represents an important milestone in strengthening Uzbekistan’s position as a regional center of innovation and entrepreneurship. For IT Park Uzbekistan, this partnership will open new opportunities to attract international partners, adopt advanced educational and acceleration practices, and expand the network of regional startup studios. Joint initiatives will enhance the quality of entrepreneurship education, improve startups’ access to investment and global markets, and contribute to the overall acceleration of Uzbekistan’s digital transformation.
