    Xsolla and IT Park Uzbekistan Sign MoU to Launch GameDev Academy in Uzbekistan

     

    Xsolla, a leading global provider of business solutions for the video game industry, and IT Park Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the first Game Development Academy in Uzbekistan. This collaboration aims to foster local talent and support the burgeoning gaming industry in the region.

     

    During the ICT WEEK 2024, representatives from Xsolla and IT Park Uzbekistan discussed the comprehensive plan for the GameDev Academy. The academy will focus on skill development, job creation, and providing support for the gaming industry. This initiative is expected to significantly benefit Uzbekistan by creating new job opportunities and elevating the skill level of IT professionals in the country.

     

     

    Key Highlights of the MoU:

    - Skill Development: The academy will offer high-quality education and training programs to develop the skills of aspiring game developers in Uzbekistan.

    - Job Creation: The academy aims to create numerous job opportunities within the gaming industry by nurturing local talent.

    - Industry Support: The collaboration will support the growth of the gaming industry in Uzbekistan, attracting major game studios and international investments.

     

    IT Park Uzbekistan, a key player in the country's tech landscape, is fully committed to supporting Xsolla in realizing this ambitious project. Their role includes securing agreements with IT Park members, identifying the best location, and streamlining the legal process for establishing the company in Uzbekistan, demonstrating their unwavering support for the GameDev Academy initiative.

     

     

    The establishment of the GameDev Academy in partnership with Xsolla represents a major milestone in bolstering Uzbekistan's position in the global GameDev sector.     GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries. Among the attendees were representatives of multinational corporations, startups, government agencies, and venture capital funds.

    Over the past two years, Uzbekistan’s venture market has demonstrated steady growth and a gradual strengthening of its institutional foundation.
