The region's digital future: IT Park Uzbekistan on the international stage

At the international forum M360 Eurasia 2025, which was held in Tashkent for the first time this year, Uzbekistan reaffirmed its status as a growing digital leader in the region. The forum was supported by the Ministry of Digital Technologies and VEON. IT Park Uzbekistan representative Sultonmurod Rasulov made a presentation on Uzbekistan's role in the global IT ecosystem.

Organised by GSMA, the forum brought together a wide range of participants: top managers and innovators from more than 40 countries. Thanks to this diversity of representatives of the digital ecosystem, M360 Eurasia has become a unique platform for discussing strategic solutions to stimulate the development of technology, as well as the formation of digital policy and investment climate.

In his speech, Sultonmurod Rasulov noted that Uzbekistan is actively moving towards the status of a regional IT hub, which is facilitated by the state strategy ‘Digital Uzbekistan - 2030’, initiatives on digitalisation, personnel training and creation of a favourable business environment for international companies.

"Today Uzbekistan is confidently building its own digital agenda oriented towards innovation and sustainable development. We are creating infrastructure, attracting international partners and supporting young talents to become one of the leading digital centres in Eurasia by 2030," Rasulov stressed.

Forum participants also discussed the geostrategic advantages of Uzbekistan, which is located at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and the Middle East, providing convenient access for international technology companies seeking to expand their presence in the region. A vibrant community of young innovators, open to new technological challenges and opportunities, is emerging in the country.

As part of his speech, Rasulov presented the country's competitive advantages in the global outsourcing arena, including the availability of skilled labour, low transaction costs and a rapidly developing digital infrastructure.

IT Park Uzbekistan's participation in M360 Eurasia 2025 was another step towards integrating the country into the global digital community and promoting Uzbekistan as a key partner for IT companies around the world.
