The Ministry of Digital Technologies hosted a meeting of the steering committee for the project “Artificial Intelligence Readiness Assessment Methodology (RAM) in Uzbekistan”, implemented within the framework of a UNESCO initiative.
The event was addressed by Bobur Khodjaev, Head of the Department for Financial Technologies, Digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence of the Presidential Administration; Oleg Pekos, First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies; Sara Noshadi, UNESCO Representative in Uzbekistan; and Elyor Maksudov, Startups and investments development director.
The meeting provided an overview of the activities undertaken to date under the project and presented the preliminary outcomes of the assessment, which encompasses legal, socio-cultural, scientific, economic, and technological dimensions.
Following the discussions, measures were outlined for enhancing stakeholder engagement, refining the project’s implementation schedule where required, and coordinating preparations for both the second meeting of the committee and the forthcoming session to be held in the framework of the UNESCO General Conference.
