IT Park Uzbekistan and the German Embassy in Uzbekistan discussed development of IT cooperation

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director, held a meeting with a delegation from the German Embassy in Uzbekistan. The embassy delegation included Rebecca Dovergne, Head of the Economic Department and Press Secretary of the German Embassy in Uzbekistan, and Eva Schneider, an officer in the Economic Department. During the discussions, the parties examined the potential for collaboration in the IT sector and explored opportunities for attracting German companies to Uzbekistan.

The meeting followed the German side’s expressed interest subsequent to their participation in the Shared Services & Offshore Outsourcing Conference. At the meeting, IT Park representatives presented key programs — Zero Risk, One-Stop Shop, Enterprise Uzbekistan — as well as initiatives aimed at fostering the development of the startup ecosystem.

The parties discussed strategies for promoting Uzbekistan’s investment potential internationally and methods to attract German companies’ attention to the local IT market. Among the steps considered was the organization of an open dialogue with IT Park members, allowing them to present their projects and successful case studies.

These initiatives create new opportunities to expand international partnerships, attract foreign companies, and strengthen Uzbekistan’s reputation as a reliable partner in the field of digital technologies.
