Outcomes of the visit to London: new agreements and strengthened international partnerships

The delegation of IT Park Uzbekistan completed a three-day working visit to London, which included meetings with international technology and outsourcing companies, participation in the Call & Contact Centre Expo, and the Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference.

Throughout the visit, a number of preliminary agreements were reached, and strong interest was confirmed regarding the establishment of offices, opening of R&D centers, and expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference: strengthened partnerships and new commitments

The central event of the visit was the Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference, organized jointly with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London. The conference brought together more than 70 guests representing over 50 companies, including Infosys, Salesforce, IBM, Deloitte, Innowise, Persistent Systems, and other major industry players.

During the conference, a detailed presentation of IT Park Uzbekistan’s activities was delivered, along with speeches from international partners. The discussions focused on the country’s talent pool, the competitive advantages of Uzbekistan’s service ecosystem, the development of export infrastructure, and opportunities for international companies to expand their operations.

The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom Ravshan Usmanov, CEO of Academia Park London Ata Arguder, CEO of AttoLabs AG Gufron Atto, Coursera’s Director of Client Relations for EMEA Vera Ignatieva, founder of Montfort James Olley, founder of Antal International Anthony Goodwin, IT Park representatives Fayzulla Ulmasov and Sarvar Vokhidov, as well asDeputy Director of IT Park Ventures Dalerkhon Nodirov.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed with Academia Park London Ltd, providing for joint work on the development of Uzbek startups, attraction of global investors, the exchange of expertise, and strengthening the international presence of Uzbekistan’s ecosystem.

Additionally, an investment agreement was signed with Datox, a startup founded by Uzbek nationals in the United Kingdom. This agreement forms part of IT Park Ventures’ broader strategy to support Uzbek founders developing innovative products abroad and entering global markets.

Following the conference, a number of companies expressed interest in advancing negotiations and confirmed their intention to visit Uzbekistan. The event reinforced the country’s position as a promising outsourcing destination and expanded international engagement.

Participation in Call & Contact Centre Expo and meetings with international companies

As part of the visit, the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation took part in the Call & Contact Centre Expo, where it presented Uzbekistan’s IT and BPO capabilities to international companies. As a result, preliminary agreements were reached with several organizations, including TCC, First Voice, Peak Outsourcing, and Simply Contact.

In addition, the delegation held a series of B2B meetings with representatives of various technology, outsourcing, and consulting companies, including Network Science, Arqa Technologies, Academia Park, Propelis, and other potential partners.

During the discussions, major global companies — among them Persistent Systems, Exceed, Global Remote Services, and Simply Contact — expressed strong interest in expanding their operations toUzbekistan. They noted the country’s potential for building IT teams, outsourcing centers, and engineering units, forming the basis for further information exchange and continued dialogue.

The events helped build a pool of potential partners, attract interest from billion-dollar corporations, and demonstrate the country’s strengths in terms of talent, infrastructure, and investment opportunities.
