Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Elyor Maksudov, Director for Startup and Investment Development, held a meeting with a delegation from Uzinfocom headed by Bakhtiyor Rizaev, Director of Business Development. During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening cooperation in the field of IT outsourcing and promoting Uzbek IT companies in the international market, as well as the preparation of a joint export event in Latvia.
Uzinfocom serves as the Single Integrator for the creation and maintenance of government information systems. The company develops and supports the country’s key digital services, including the “.UZ” domain, government data centers, and the portal my.gov.uz. Uzinfocom has implemented over 1,000 IT projects — ranging from e-government to digital identification and healthcare. Since spring 2025, the company has actively been developing its outsourcing services. Uzinfocom Europe, its subsidiary, works with clients across Europe and promotes Uzbek IT services within the EU.
A key topic of discussion was the expansion of the export potential of Uzbek IT companies. In particular, the parties explored potential mechanisms for attracting IT outsourcing contracts from Europe and other regions. Emphasis was placed on building sustainable partnerships and engaging representatives of the private sector.
Particular attention was given to organizing events in Europe and promoting the export capabilities of Uzbek IT companies. The upcoming event is being initiated by Uzinfocom and Uzinfocom Europe with the support of IT Park Uzbekistan. The primary objective is to showcase the capabilities of Uzbekistan’s IT sector and establish business connections with European companies.
Collaboration with Uzinfocom and its European subsidiary unlocks new opportunities for IT Park Uzbekistan — including the promotion of Uzbek IT services abroad, the attraction of international investors, and the expansion of digital solution export channels.
In conclusion, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan expressed their readiness to support Uzinfocom’s entry into the European market in two key areas. First, by facilitating the organization of international events in Latvia aimed at presenting Uzbekistan’s ICT export potential. Second, by connecting the company to its international partner network, which includes venture funds and outsourcing companies — thereby contributing to effective networking and the establishment of long-term business relationships.
