A delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan made a working visit to the Republic of Belarus to expand international cooperation and attract new IT companies to the country's regions. The delegation consisted of the heads of the regional departments of the Ministry of Digital Technologies for the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Navoi region, as well as the general managers of the regional branches of IT Park Uzbekistan in these areas.
As part of the Global Business Services Forum 2026 (GBSF 2026), Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with a delegation from Sonect, headed by CEO Ekaterina Osina. The meeting was also attended by representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Jahongir Kagirov, Director of Export Development at IT Park Uzbekistan. The parties discussed practical steps for launching Sonect's activities in Uzbekistan, the development of the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector, and prospects for further cooperation in creating new export-oriented service operations.
Uzbekistan continues to attract the attention of international companies seeking to expand their global outsourcing networks. Among them is Emapta, a global provider of outsourcing, Employer of Record (EOR), and distributed workforce solutions, which is exploring new destinations to support the continued growth of its international operations.
