At the 18th plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Constitutional Law "On the International Digital Technology Center" was discussed. During the discussion, it was noted that this Constitutional Law had previously been considered at the 17th plenary session of the Senate and sent to the Legislative Chamber with proposals for revision. A conciliation commission comprising senators and deputies of the Legislative Chamber reworked the law with the participation of representatives from relevant state bodies and organizations.
According to the results of the first half of 2026, the international presence of IT Park Uzbekistan members has continued to expand significantly. The number of member companies engaged in export activities reached 1,050, of which 315 operate from the regions of Uzbekistan.
On July 28, Jahongir Kagirov, Deputy Director General of IT Park Uzbekistan, and Jasur Jafarov visited Silk Road Intellect, a Chinese company operating in the Jizzakh region. This is the first logistics company in Jizzakh to operate in the U.S. market.
