Sarvinoz Bultakova, a native of Jizzakh, received her education in Uzbekistan, China, and Poland and currently serves as a Consulting Engineer at the global technology company Cisco. In an interview with IT Park Uzbekistan and The Tech, she shared her journey into network engineering, her experience building a career in an international company while remaining true to her goals and roots, and her insights on working in a multicultural team, maintaining work-life balance, and the future of IT in Uzbekistan.
Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Elyor Maksudov, Startup and Investments Development Director, held a meeting with a delegation from Ghent University headed by Ignace Lemahieu, Director of Research. During the negotiations, the parties discussed the establishment of joint AI laboratories at universities in Uzbekistan, the participation of Ghent University in the development of IT Park’s new R&D centre, as well as prospects for cooperation in technology transfer, academic exchange and support for the startup ecosystem.
On 11 November 2025, a resolution of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan entered into force, enabling foreign founders of member companies of IT Park, as well as their foreign employees, to open bank accounts and bank cards remotely.
