Sergey Skiba

Sergey Skiba is Head of Vention's regional office in Uzbekistan, a specialist with more than 25 years of experience in IT and deep expertise in software product development and testing. He graduated from Gomel State University in 1996 with a degree in "Software Engineer" and progressed from developer to top manager.

Sergey joined Vention in 2010, where he led one of the company's largest departments for a long time. In 2021, he opened an office in Uzbekistan, which became a resident and partner of IT Park. Since launch, the team has been actively involved in developing the local IT industry and engineering ecosystem.

He believes that the key to the market's future is people. Therefore, Sergey develops an environment where engineers progress from Junior to Senior and become in demand at a global level. Today, Vention Uzbekistan employs more than 170 specialists; the goal is to grow to 500 engineers by 2028 and make the Tashkent center one of the company's key offices.
