    Useful Guide: What support programs does IT Park provide?

    Uzbekistan is actively fostering an environment conducive to the growth of the IT industry, offering tax incentives and robust government backing. Specifically, IT Park Uzbekistan plays a pivotal role in assisting companies in this regard, offering a diverse range of programs designed to elevate the industry. Let’s break down what these programs involve, who can participate, and why they are advantageous for IT entrepreneurs.

     

    Resident Status at IT Park

     

    This special status granted to IT companies and IT educational centers looking to operate under favorable conditions.

     

    What benefits does the resident status provide?

     

    Full exemption from all corporate taxes for residents, contrasting with a 4-15% tax for non-residents. Social tax exemption for residents (0%), compared to a 12% rate for non-residents. Income tax stands at 12% for non-residents and 7.5% for residents. VAT exemption on imported services for residents.   

     

    Applying for Residency

     

    To apply for residency, log into the personal account on my.it-park.uz, using the company’s digital signature key. In the “Applications” section, submit a business plan for review by the Expert Council. Processing period: 15 working days.

     

    IT Visa

    IT Visa is a multiple-entry visa category valid for up to 3 years, facilitating extended stays for foreign investors, IT professionals, and founders of IT Park residents within Uzbekistan.

     

    What advantages does it provide?

    • Access to medical services and education equivalent to Uzbekistan citizens.

    • Temporary registration for the visa’s duration.

    • Permission to acquire real estate of any value.

     

    Apply for an IT Visa

    Submit your application online at itvisa.uz

    The visa is issued by the territorial divisions of Uzbekistan’s internal affairs authorities based on IT Park’s recommendation, at the applicant’s temporary residence. Additionally, family members (spouse, parents, children) are granted guest visas.

     

    One stop shop

    Service designed to streamline the company establishment process, ensuring a swift and straightforward experience without unnecessary hassle and time expenditure.

     

    What services are offered?

    Within the service, IT Park specialists assist applicants in registering their company, opening a bank account, and ensuring registration with tax authorities. No physical presence of the applicant is required.

     

    Access One Stop Shop

    To access this service, complete a brief application on my.it-park.uz/oss and await responses from managers.

     

    Zero Risk Program

    Zero Risk is a new program tailored for foreign IT companies entering the Uzbekistan market with minimal risks and costs. The program is geared towards enhancing the business climate in the country and fostering export activities within the IT and BPO outsourcing sectors.

     

    What advantages does it offer?

    • Free office space in the regions for 12 months.

    • Assistance in furnishing offices for up to 100 people, with a 15-month grace period for payments.

    • Reimbursement of up to 15% of salaries for Uzbekistan citizen employees (the company receives a $500 cash compensation for each hired employee).

    • Reimbursement of up to 50% of expenses for training and development of up to 100 employees, the total amount of which shall not exceed $5,000.

    Local2Global Program

    This program supports local Uzbek companies expanding into international markets, aiming to stimulate their export activities.

     

    What benefits does it offer?

    • 50% coverage of expenses for export consulting services, foreign and international trips, and participation in exhibitions and seminars

    • Free access to Coursera’s top courses;

    • Export mentoring.

    GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries.     New rules are being introduced for IT Park Uzbekistan members

    Starting from April 1, 2026, changes will come into force in Uzbekistan for residents of IT Park Uzbekistan, the Cybernetic Innovation IT Park, and Inno Technopark LLC. The new regulations are set out in the Presidential Resolution of the Republic of Uzbekistan date December 26, 2025, No. PP 388, and are aimed at developing a sustainable IT ecosystem with an emphasis on export-oriented IT products and services.
