Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Jahongir Kagirov, Head of the Service Export Development Department, held a meeting with representatives of the South Korean company Novatech, headed by CEO Song Dong Seok. The discussions focused on the potential establishment of a service center in Uzbekistan, the recruitment of qualified personnel, and prospects for long-term cooperation.
Novatech is a South Korean IT company specializing in the development of software solutions for the monitoring, management, and maintenance of infrastructure in large-scale energy facilities, including nuclear power plants. The company currently employs approximately 75 professionals and operates offices in Korea, the United States, and Vietnam, actively implementing projects and advancing innovation in the energy and industrial sectors.
Novatech is currently considering the establishment of a service center in Uzbekistan, which would provide outsourcing services to clients in both the United States and South Korea. During the visit, the Novatech delegation became acquainted with the infrastructure of IT Park Uzbekistan, inspected available office facilities for rent, and held a number of meetings with potential local partners.
Mr. Kagirov emphasized that Uzbekistan boasts a significant pool of Korean-speaking IT specialists, creating favorable conditions for effective localization of business operations. IT Park Uzbekistan stands ready to provide comprehensive support in sourcing and recruiting qualified talent.
The company is expected to make a final decision on the launch of its office in Uzbekistan in the near future.
