Uzbek startups set a new participation record at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 in San Francisco

In late October, a delegation from IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Jamila Khalibaeva, Global Marketing Director, participated in one of the world’s most prominent innovation and technology events — TechCrunch Disrupt 2025.

TechCrunch Disrupt is the largest international conference in the field of technology and startups, held annually in San Francisco. The event serves as a platform where entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders converge to present projects, exchange expertise, and establish new partnerships.

This year, the conference celebrated its 20th anniversary, bringing together over 10,000 participants from 80 countries. For the first time in the event’s history, a record number of startups from Uzbekistan were represented. The teams participated as part of the Silkroad Pavilion, organized by the Silkroad Innovation Hub, which highlights the rapidly developing technological ecosystem of Central Eurasia.

Uzbekistan was represented by eight startups: Tilmoch, Business Robots AI, Bright Future, LittleChess, DTVSOFT, TopCoach, Paylov, and Freyt.

Tilmoch is an Uzbek technology company developing an artificial intelligence platform for translation and text proofreading in Uzbek, Karakalpak, and other Turkic languages. Originating from the Tahrirchi project, Tilmoch has evolved into one of the most promising AI-based services in the region. In 2025, the startup attracted $150,000 in investments from AloqaVentures, Yoshlar Ventures, and IT Park Ventures. Today, the platform serves over 130,000 users and more than 50 corporate clients.

Business Robots AI is a B2B startup specializing in the automation of marketing and sales processes using artificial intelligence. Its platform enables companies to manage sales funnels, advertising campaigns, and customer communications within a unified digital environment. The company’s solutions are utilized across e-commerce, retail, and services, enhancing efficiency without increasing staffing costs.

Bright Future is an educational and social startup established to support talented youth in Uzbekistan. The project provides training and mentorship programs for students aspiring to enroll in leading international universities. The initiative focuses on developing human capital and creating new opportunities for young professionals in the fields of technology, science, and education.

LittleChess is an educational platform that teaches children chess in an interactive and gamified format. By combining gamification, video lessons, and step-by-step exercises, the platform makes learning logical and strategic thinking both accessible and enjoyable. LittleChess is widely adopted by schools and parents seeking to develop analytical skills among younger students.

DTVSOFT is an IT company developing software solutions for the logistics and transportation sectors. The DTVSOFT platform automates cargo management, route planning, document processing, and driver monitoring, reducing operational costs and improving transparency within supply chains. The company focuses on corporate clients and contributes to the digital transformation of the regional transportation industry.

TopCoach is an EdTech platform connecting Uzbek youth with international educational opportunities. The startup offers consulting, preparation, and mentorship programs for university admissions abroad, partnering with universities and foundations worldwide. The project positions itself as a bridge between local talent and the global academic community.

Paylov, founded by OCTAGRAM in 2020, is a fintech startup providing mobile payment, money transfer, and financial management solutions. The Paylov application supports instant transactions, expense analytics, and a rewards system. The company is actively expanding its digital financial ecosystem, partnering with banks and major retail networks.

Freyt is an emerging Uzbek startup focused on the digitalization of logistics and freight transportation. The company is developing a platform that simplifies interactions between shippers and carriers, ensuring transparent pricing and optimized routes. Currently in a phase of rapid growth, Freyt aims to implement digital logistics solutions in the regional transport industry.

Uzbek startups presented innovative solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence, financial technology, education, and business process automation, demonstrating a high level of technical expertise and readiness to compete on the global stage.

Over the course of three days, the founders delivered presentations on the TechCrunch Showcase Stage and held meetings with venture capital funds, investors, and technology companies from the United States and Europe.

As a result of their participation, several Uzbek startup representatives reported the signing of pilot project agreements, the establishment of strategic partnerships, and the creation of new investment connections that will facilitate the global scaling of their businesses.

In addition to the main program, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan participated in the Central Eurasian Founders & Community Meetup, a large-scale networking event that brought together over 300 participants, including startup founders, investors, and innovation ecosystem leaders from Central Asia and Silicon Valley.

Speakers from Astana Hub, IT Park Uzbekistan, and the Alchemist Accelerator delivered presentations highlighting opportunities for deeper collaboration between regional technology ecosystems, the launch of joint initiatives, and the expansion of global opportunities for startups from Central Eurasia.

The active participation of Uzbek teams in TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 marked another milestone in implementing Uzbekistan’s strategy to position itself as a regional hub for innovation and digital technologies, open to international cooperation, investment, and the exchange of ideas.
