Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conference brought together over 70 representatives of Chinese businesses

Two Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conferences, organized by IT Park Uzbekistan, were held in China. The events took place in two of the country’s largest cities — Beijing and Shanghai — and were aimed at fostering international cooperation and promoting Uzbekistan’s investment and technological potential.

The conferences brought together more than 70 representatives from 42 leading Chinese companies operating in the fields of artificial intelligence, BPO, GameDev, IT, and fintech. Among the participants were prominent companies such as Xiaomi, Baidu, YONYOU, and PayerMax, as well as other major technology enterprises seeking to expand their business activities in Central Asia and beyond.

Both conferences were led by Jakhongir Radjabov, Business Development Director of IT Park Uzbekistan, who presented the strategy for the development of Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem and underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation with Chinese companies in the field of digital technologies.

Among the speakers was Guo Jing, Sales Director at Renrui Human Resources, who shared his successful experience of establishing a business in Uzbekistan. He noted that the process — from registration to the start of operations — took only one month. According to him, the decisive factor in choosing Uzbekistan was the availability of multilingual professionals, which is particularly crucial for the development of the company’s BPO operations.

Another speaker, Yuriy Karp, Regional Director at BIPO, highlighted Uzbekistan’s key advantages: a favorable business climate, state support for IT companies, competitive conditions for investors, and a highly qualified talent pool. He emphasized that Uzbekistan is emerging as a reliable hub for international companies seeking to expand their operations in Central Asia.

Following the events, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of a Chinese delegation to Uzbekistan, during which participants will become acquainted with the infrastructure of IT Park Uzbekistan, the national IT ecosystem, and the potential of local specialists and startups. This visit will represent the next step in strengthening bilateral cooperation and lay the foundation for new investment and educational projects.

Both conferences served as significant platforms for deepening partnerships between IT Park Uzbekistan and leading Chinese technology companies, facilitating the exchange of expertise and the exploration of new avenues for collaboration within the digital economy.
