A modern IT infrastructure is taking shape in Fergana: IT Park branch under construction in “Yangi Oʻzbekiston” residential area

As part of his visit to Fergana Region, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov reviewed the construction process of an IT Park branch in the city of Fergana, located within the “Yangi Oʻzbekiston” (Eco-City) residential area.

The total area of the site spans 1.9 hectares, where a modern 14-storey building is currently under construction.

The new branch of IT Park is envisioned to provide a favorable ecosystem for IT professionals and startups. In particular, it will feature modern, well-equipped offices for IT Park member companies, startup studios, coworking zones, as well as training centers focused on programming, robotics, 3D graphics, graphic design, SMM, modern professions, and foreign languages.

During his site visit, Minister Sherzod Shermatov presented a number of proposals and recommendations regarding the adoption of advanced technologies, the use of green energy and environmentally friendly solutions, as well as the creation of new opportunities for youth. He also emphasized the importance of developing a favorable infrastructure and fostering an innovative environment as part of the project’s implementation.

This project is expected to become a significant milestone in the development of the regional IT sector, contributing to youth employment and the expansion of the innovation ecosystem.
