Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov and Services Export Development Director Makhliyo Muksinova held a meeting with Kosei Sakamoto, CEO of MSOL Digital. The parties discussed the prospects of launching operations in Uzbekistan and further expansion into the CIS market through the country.
MSOL Digital is a subsidiary of the Japanese consulting group Management Solutions (MSOL), established in 2022 in Tokyo. The company specializes in digital transformation, artificial intelligence solutions — including generative AI — and Microsoft cloud technologies such as Azure, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio. It serves as the technology division of MSOL Group, which provides consulting services in project management (PMO), business analytics, and digital strategy. The group employs approximately 2,000 specialists and reports annual revenue of USD 203 million.
During the meeting, the parties explored potential areas of cooperation in IT talent acquisition. MSOL Digital representatives expressed interest in Uzbek specialists in such areas as artificial intelligence, Microsoft-based solutions, and game development.
Makhliyo Muksinova emphasized that Uzbekistan boasts a rapidly growing pool of skilled IT professionals with strong technical expertise and fluency in multiple languages, including Japanese and English. IT Park Uzbekistan continues to foster a favorable ecosystem for international technology companies aiming to expand into the CIS region.
The collaboration with MSOL Digital underscores Uzbekistan’s attractiveness as a strategic hub for launching digital initiatives in AI, cloud technologies, and software development.
