A delegation led by the Minister of Labor of the Sultanate of Oman visited IT Park Uzbekistan

During the visit, the delegation was presented with an overview of the ongoing reforms, key areas of activity, and future plans of the Ministry of Digital Technologies and IT Park Uzbekistan.  

 

 

The delegation also introduced to the operations of Ustudy IT Academy, which specializes in training IT professionals, the UZSOC Innovation Center for Cybersecurity of Critical Infrastructure, and the initiatives carried out by the Unified Integrator UZINFOCOM.  

 

 

Following this, a meeting took place between the Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, the First Deputy Director of the Agency for Civil Service Development under the President of Uzbekistan Amirtemirkhon Musaev, and the Minister of Labor of the Sultanate of Oman Mahad Baawain.  

 

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between the two countries in the fields of digital technologies, labor market digitalization, workforce training, artificial intelligence implementation, IT outsourcing, and e-government.  

 

 

The Minister noted that in recent years, Uzbekistan has been accelerating digital transformation processes, including measures to further simplify and enhance the transparency of e-government services for citizens and businesses.  

 

 

Mahad Baawain shared insights into digitalization initiatives, labor reforms, and the application of digital solutions in Oman.  

 

Both sides expressed their readiness to further deepen bilateral cooperation, exchange expertise, and implement joint projects.
