Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Azizbek Yusupov, Head of the MENA Region, held a meeting with Abdussalam Arakkal, Co-founder of EcoSmart. During the discussions, the parties explored the prospect of opening a back office in Uzbekistan and forming a team of developers focused on exporting IT services to the Gulf countries.
EcoSmart is a UAE-based company specializing in sustainable technologies, energy efficiency, and digital solutions for buildings and infrastructure. Its core areas include smart home systems, energy management, and consultancy in green construction. The company’s headquarters is located in Dubai.
During the meeting, EcoSmart representatives expressed their intention to export software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions to Gulf countries, primarily targeting the energy sector. Uzbekistan is being considered as a strategically advantageous location for technical development and scaling, with plans to establish a dedicated back office in the country.
The company indicated interest in forming a team of 30–40 junior and mid-level developers who will be based in its Uzbekistan office. Discussions also touched upon access to the local IT ecosystem, including talent recruitment, infrastructure capabilities, and the range of support measures offered by IT Park.
The collaboration with EcoSmart opens new opportunities to position Uzbekistan as a reliable destination for the development of sustainable and advanced IT projects. IT Park Uzbekistan remains committed to strengthening the country's standing on the global map of intelligent outsourcing.
