    IT Park delegation undertook a mission to the UK on a practical visit

    On November 28, the IT Park delegation participated in the International Summit “Customer Engagement”, providing clients with the opportunity to engage with leading service providers.

     

    The event showcased a series of real-world examples demonstrating the latest developments in customer service.

     

    On November 29, the Uzbekistan Embassy in the United Kingdom hosted the international conference “Uzbekistan —  New Outsourcing Hub in Central Asia”. During this event, meetings were held with representatives of major IT and BPO companies such as Clarivate, Aktsiz, Tata Consultancy, Everest Group, and Konsentriks.  

     

     

    The event was attended by high-ranking representatives from the ministry and leaders of IT companies. The main topics of discussion centered around systemic reforms and prospective plans implemented in Uzbekistan’s IT sector, including matters related to increasing the export volume of IT services and software products to $5 billion, as well as ensuring employment for 300 thousand young individuals in the IT sector.

     

    Following the results of the third quarter of 2023, 22 local companies-residents of Uzbekistan exported IT services to the United Kingdom amounting $33.5 million, constituting 14% ($238.7 million) of the overall export volume of IT services.

     

    Currently, there are 11 companies-residents of the United Kingdom operating in Uzbekistan.

     

    On November 30, within Call & Contact Center Expo exhibition, a meeting took place with major call center companies worldwide, as well as representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

     

    Companies such as Foundever, Cognizant, Peak Outsourcing Global, Deskmoz 24x7 agents, and MvisionUSA expressed significant interest in establishing their call centers in Uzbekistan and participating in the Offshore Outsource Tour, which took place in March.

     

     

    On the same day, at the Uzbekistan Embassy in the United Kingdom, an event was organized with the participation of more than 80 guests. Representatives of major companies such as Concentrix, Intellias, and Everest Group attended. The parties discussed the possibilities of including Uzbekistan among the top 20 outsourcing countries.

     

    All participants were invited to the Offshore Outsource Tour scheduled for the first quarter of 2024. This event will allow them to familiarize themselves with the business environment and explore opportunities for establishing their representation in our country.

     

    The event program featured Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Rustam Karimjanov, who expressed gratitude to all participants.  

     

     

    Subsequently, a panel session took place with the participation of Andrew Wrobel, Partner and Head of the Emerging Europe community, IT Park residents FinTech and Realsoft, as well as representatives of major organizations and companies such as the Global Sourcing Association, Maistro Group, and Everest Group.

     

    During the panel discussion, experts examined current strategies for optimizing company operations based on BPO and IT outsourcing, sharing their experiences in this field. Participants also discussed the challenges and opportunities faced by companies seeking to integrate BPO and IT outsourcing into their development strategies.

     

     

    Following the panel session, participants were briefed on the role of IT Park in the development of the IT sector in the country and the advantages it offers.

     

    From November 30 to December 1, IT Park residents, in collaboration with Uzinfocom, Maroqand, and Le Bazar, participated with a booth at the largest exhibition "Digital Transformation Week" in Europe. During the exhibition, the IT Park team presented the opportunities in Uzbekistan to an audience of 200 people. Within the exhibition, the delegation met with Inetum, Prodapt, ADP, SquareTalk, XpertRule Software, IO Solutions, Temple Avenue Group, and other companies. All company representatives were invited to the Offshore Outsourcing Tour scheduled to take place in Uzbekistan from March 18 to 20, 2024.  

     

     

    Digital Transformation Week is a week highlighting trends in infrastructure transformation, hybrid cloud systems, the future of workflows, employee experience, automation, and sustainability. Annually, more than 6,000 leaders and over 150 speakers from around the world participate in this event.

    GBSF 2025 outcomes: Uzbekistan strengthens its status as an IT hub

    Tashkent hosted the Global Business Services Forum 2025 (GBSF 2025), one of the most prominent events of the year in the field of IT outsourcing and digital services. Organized by IT Park Uzbekistan with the support of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the event convened approximately 450 participants representing 260 companies, including 237 international companies from 40 countries. Among the attendees were representatives of multinational corporations, startups, government agencies, and venture capital funds.

    Malaysian company Softnet Technologies plans to establish an office in Uzbekistan and hire local specialists

    As part of the Global Business Services Forum (GBSF), representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director, held a meeting with a delegation from the Malaysian company Softnet Technologies Sdn Bhd, headed by CEO Hamdan Akram. During the meeting, the parties discussed the company’s plans to enter the Uzbek market. Softnet Technologies expressed its intention to open an office in the country, recruit local specialists, and relocate part of its team.

    Regional Digital Global Bridge: Korean companies seek partners in Uzbekistan

    The Tashkent branch of IT Park Uzbekistan hosted the B2B forum "Regional Digital Global Bridge: Connecting Uzbekistan and Korea", featuring the participation of 11 South Korean technology companies. The event was organized with the support of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency of the Republic of Korea (NIPA) and the Korea ICT Promotion Association. On behalf of IT Park, Makhliyo Muksinova, Services Export Development Director, welcomed the participants. During the forum, representatives of Korean companies held individual business meetings with members of IT Park Uzbekistan to explore prospects for joint projects in outsourcing, technology exchange, and international market expansion.
