Uzbekistan showcases Global Outsourcing Potential at ABSL Summit 2025 in Kraków

IT Park Uzbekistan took the international stage at the ABSL Summit 2025 – Central and Eastern Europe’s premier event for global business services (GBS) and IT outsourcing, held in Kraków, Poland. Held under the theme “Embrace Technology, Empower People,” the summit gathered more than 1,500 leaders, including Fortune 500 companies, government delegations, venture funds, and multinational associations.

Uzbekistan: rising Nearshore Destination for Europe and MENA

With its young, tech-savvy population and proactive digital policies, Uzbekistan is rapidly emerging as a next-generation outsourcing hub. IT Park Uzbekistan’s strong presence at the summit highlighted the country’s strategic ambition to become a regional powerhouse in IT and BPO services.

“Emerging regions like Uzbekistan are showing what’s possible when you combine lean regulation, government-backed innovation, and a young, tech-ready workforce,” said Ahmed Aboulezz, Advisor to the CEO and Director Talent Acquisition of IT Park Uzbekistan. “Europe still has the tools what’s needed now is the urgency to act and collaborate. For Poland and Uzbekistan, this is a two-way opportunity, speed and innovation from our side, long-term strategy and delivery excellence from theirs.”

    Key outcomes from the summit:

    • 30+ strategic business connections initiated with global companies and tech associations exploring Central Asia.
    • High-level participation in a main plenary session on the future of global business services, alongside executives from Atos, Proservartner, and Osaic.
    • Promotion of Uzbekistan as a competitive, compliant, and cost-effective outsourcing location.
    • Investor interest in Uzbekistan’s tech infrastructure, talent pool, and government incentives.

The summit highlighted a clear trend, global business service providers are actively shifting their attention toward emerging markets. As traditional hubs in Europe face increasing pressure from rising costs, talent shortages, and infrastructure saturation, regions like Uzbekistan are gaining traction. With a young, educated workforce and growing digital infrastructure, Uzbekistan is well-positioned to become a next-generation nearshore destination for Europe and MENA.

The ABSL Summit made it clear: global business service providers are looking beyond saturated European markets, and Uzbekistan is emerging as a serious contender. Driven by rising digital capabilities, supportive reforms, and a new generation of tech talent, the country is well positioned to become a next-generation nearshore destination for Europe and the MENA region.

The summit reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s strategic positioning but also emphasized the importance of speed, scale, and credibility. Uzbekistan has a rare window to capture global attention and become the go-to destination for high-value outsourcing across Europe and the Middle East.

IT Park remains committed to building global partnerships, enabling scalable innovation, and unlocking opportunities for local IT companies and startups to thrive internationally.
