From January 20 to 23, the next stage of the National AI Hackathon – one of the largest projects in the field of digital development of Uzbekistan – will be held in Samarkand. Starting from April 1, 2026, changes will come into force in Uzbekistan for residents of IT Park Uzbekistan, the Cybernetic Innovation IT Park, and Inno Technopark LLC. The new regulations are set out in the Presidential Resolution of the Republic of Uzbekistan date December 26, 2025, No. PP 388, and are aimed at developing a sustainable IT ecosystem with an emphasis on export-oriented IT products and services.
