Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Services Export Development Director Makhliyo Muksinova, held a meeting with a delegation from the Creative Industries Agency (Moscow). The delegation included CEO Gyulnara Agamova and included Deputy CEO Alexander Bodrov, representing the ANO “Development of the Video Game Industry”. Following the discussions, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation, and agreed to develop joint initiatives in the field of game development.
The ANO “Creative Industries Agency” is a dedicated center for supporting creative businesses, established by the Government of Moscow in 2020. Its mission is to foster creative entrepreneurship and develop urban infrastructure across multiple sectors, including art, architecture, video games and software, design, new media, and film. With the Agency’s support, the Moscow Video Game Hub is being developed within the Skolkovo Innovation Center — the first cluster in Russia dedicated to video game and animation developers. The hub provides offices, coworking facilities, exhibition and training spaces, enabling teams to work comfortably, present their projects, and enhance their skills.
During the meeting, the parties discussed concrete steps for collaboration, including support measures for Uzbek game development studios through the Moscow Video Game Hub, the launch of joint acceleration and educational programs, and the initiation of detailed discussions on the establishment of a dedicated accelerator. The parties also agreed to facilitate the participation of IT Park Uzbekistan and Uzbek game studios in major industry events in Moscow, including the November Video Game Week and Creative Industries Week.
Furthermore, the parties confirmed the participation of IT Park Uzbekistan and Uzbek gaming studios in specialized events in Moscow, including the upcoming November Video Game Week. The Creative Industries Agency expressed its interest in knowledge exchange, the joint development of support programs, and participation in IT Park Uzbekistan’s events planned within the framework of ICT Week 2025.
The partnership with the Creative Industries Agency will serve to strengthen IT Park Uzbekistan’s international relations, providing Uzbek game development and creative startups with access to advanced infrastructure and training opportunities, accelerate their residency in the specialized hub, and facilitate their reach into new markets and investors.
